Crafted from rough-hewn solid Sengon Tekik, the Torsten 3-piece Occasional Table Set planks are left un-planed to retain uneven surfaces between boards. Hand-sanded to preserve saw marks from the milling process, panels are treated with a White glaze and finished with a beautiful Java Vintage Mahogany pigment. A 9-step finish uses glaze to highlight the wood grain and a light wash to simulate the patina of age, resulting in a rustic table with a uniquely rough and tumble feel. The Torsten Coffee Table features two shallow map drawers atop two deeper on each side. The Torsten End Tables each feature a single drawer with multiple knobs and an open bottom for easy access storage. All of the drawers feature full extension ball bearing drawer glides.
